1. You’re about to head out for a night out with the girls. What lipstick and lip gloss combo do you put on to make yourself feel gorgeous?
I love a red lip on a night out! I usually where a black dress or a predominantly black outfit I think the red lip adds that pop of colour. MAC's Lady Danger is my favourite at the moment it has a slight coral-tinge to it which I also love.
2. You’re running late for school/ work and need to leave the house in 5 minutes! Which 3 essential makeup products do you apply for a naturally beautiful look?
Eek! This is probably any beauty bloggers nightmare.. I'd have to say concealer, mascara and brow powder!
Depending on my skin if I have breakouts etc I'll switch between MAC Studio Finish Concealer or Collection's Lasting Perfection.
Mascara has to be my Bobbi Brown's Intensifying Long-Wear (which I did a review on in my last post)
And for brows I use Beautiful Brows powder (which has reminded me I must post a review on this amaze product!) my favourite ever! I'm a sucker for a defined brow..
3. You’re packing for a week away on holiday. What “all in one” eye shadow palette do you bring with you?
It would have to be the Naked 2 or Sleek's Storm palette. Both classics for me and versatile for so many different looks, they're always my go-to.
4. You’re heading to the beach on a Summer’s day and will be wearing your favourite bikini. What nail polish shade do you wear on your fingers and toes to complete the look?
Summer nail I immediately think coral! White was quite a hit last summer but I love a coral nail, up against a tan and I think it's such a nice bright colour to sum up the summer.
5. You’re getting ready for a date night to a new restaurant in town. Which perfume do you pick out from your collection to impress him?
I'd be stuck between Chanel's Coco Mademoiselle and Marc Jacobs Daisy.. I'd probably say Chanel with it's feminine, classy edge but Marc Jacob's is a current everyday favourite for me.. But date night- Chanel.
6. You’re spending the weekend away and you only want to pack your beauty basics. What 3 brushes/ tools do you bring to do your makeup?
This is tricky as I find myself using a lot of brushes when doing my make-up routine. It'd definitely have to be Real Techniques Expert Face Brush for my concealer & foundation. Also their Powder Brush. And the Beautiful Brows Eyebrow Pencil.. (eek eyeshadow brush & lash curlers.. help!)
If I had to narrow down, would have to be those 3.
7. You’ve just woken up to crazy bed hair and have no time to wash it. What hair products do you use to tame your unruly locks?
This will sound unruly to some people but I use NOTHING on my hair.. Is this good or bad I don't know!? Hairspray to lock in styles is pretty much my only hair product. I could say that now and again I use Boots Coconut Spray In Conditioner after I wash my hair but that my friend is all.. (perhaps I should start using more hair products!?)
8. Your friend wants to expand her makeup collection and asks for your help. What high street product and what high end product do you recommend her to try?
High Street- it would have to be a Rimmel Kate Moss Lipstick, I love their consistencys and colour variety.
High End- MAC MAC MAC, anything from their shadows to lipsticks to concealers (oh wait and their MSF's) I just love MAC as a brand whole, never been disappointed myself. So anything MAC!
